figmentation

The world sleeps.
I am awake with my coffee.
I couldn't tel you what time it is, but the sun is up, there are trees everywhere.
My friend's house is amazing and old and perfect and I love that I was collected at the airport by her and her male and that they're both as neat as they are reputed to be.
There are more books than one could possibly hope to read in this house and the tv is tucked away somewhere hidden from existence. (all of the books have been read, some of them several times)
The birds sing this morning and there are carnivorous plants everywhere in the house. (and no bugs)

I want a shower but the creaky old house would wake the dead I think.

I am pleased. Happy I came and wondering what today holds.


(I will fnd out what my own living quarters is like later in the day - maybe tommorow. I'm not staying here - there's really not the room for a long term visitor.)
