I'm a lobster!!!!!
Right, so i don't LIVE twenty minutes away from the ocean.... yet.
It's 250 miles for me to get to the sea... and go to the sea today I definatly did! It was SOOOOO beautiful!
I went swiming and read the Wall Street journal. All the while watching the hotties playing horseshoes on the beach and ignoring their way too thin females sitting on their loungers and reading Cosmo. (I was the only female in the water for the most part. silly girls don't know what they're missing!!!) The water was warm, the waves were kinda choppy, but not too much of a rip current. I walked for what seemed like miles in the surf. ah. wonderful.
Tonite I am the color of a lobster. The only place I am not pink is where was covered by my swimsuit... Everything else... yea. ouch is the correct word. photos tommorow (if I can find my camera! I don't know where the blasted thing went!) Until then, know that anyone who sleeps within a fifty foot radius of me tonite will be quite warm due to radiating heat.
(and yes, I'm rehydrating, so those of you worry about that stuff, worry more about the blisters forming. They're the painful kind)
And also, I got to see a full on search and rescue mission. A couple of guys forgot that the ocean is more powerful than a single human and were pulled out to sea. One was able to be rescued (by the bystanders I think) and the otherone... well. I don't think he's been found yet.
493 miles on my car to get their and back. on one tank of gas. I'm proud of Tank.
Kisses and hugs.

Glad you're having a great time!
A little sun is good for you!
Can't wait to see the tan lines! ha ha
I got incinerated a few weeks back painting the fence. It was sunny and everything. I lost all critical credibility with my mate who runs a cancer factory/solarium.
Where I live, you're no more than half-an-hour's drive away from the North Sea at any one time. Which be great doing summer but freaking scary come January.
