Second bomb dropped on Nagasaki. This is savagery on such a scale that I cannot believe it.

Japan surrendered. It seems unbelievable that we can go on living, loving , working, in a world so monstrous,and this because we do no know how to curb the savagery of war, how to control history. This is why I hate history, because it makes man feel helpless in the strangle hold of hatred. More wars. More wars. More destruction. More horrible ways to destroy human beings. What can we do? Because we feel we have no say in all of this, we turn away. Thos who talk politicis all day and all night have not solved anything."

Savage? i always think the Crusades were the most confusing part of Histroy. When Christians went to 'defend' ( read:Kill) opposing religions in Jerusalem. yes the hostory of man can be mortifying. But there are it's bright spots too. like how about the Chineese discovering noodles?

The problem is not that we dont remember history, it is that the masses do not care about history, and thus it repeats its self.

Speaking of wich, Iran is working on new toys. And they also happen to be the worlds largest state sponsor of terrorisim. Yet no one pays attention.
