With shakyfingers and a beating heart, I've decided to turn down the boat job.
That means I stay here, I stay in one place. That means I'm not flying outta the country just yet. That means that I create myself a new home. (I havn't had a home in so long, I'm not quite sure what to do with the concept much less actually waking up in the same spot on the earth for months on end.) That means that I get to be OUTSIDE on LAND, able to see all of the hills and mountians and plants and snow and dirt and animals and such of this part of the country. That means I can go to school because I'm not going to be leaving before the end of the semester. That means that I can find work that deals with something other than boats and yachts. That means that I have the time and space to learn to lay tile, do masonry, metal work, quilt, cook, ride, and read! That means that I can add to my life the experience of living in the upper part of the south east usa.
The longest I've stayed anywhere in the past four years was nine months. This concept of staying causes the intense desire to flee. At the same time, Im at complete peace with staying.
(There's something about the air here that I just like)

Soon the days will be getting longer and warmer. That's good news.

I love your new profile pic. I imagine that is from your high school graduation. My grad pic makes me look like a dork.
