I"d always wondered why bricks were red. ya know, why not brown or blue or something... it occured to me today, that bricks were red because the dirt is red. RED DIRT! can you believe it! I'm amazed. I thought that dirt = sand or that black stuff that you stick in your garden, never did it occur to me that it was red. (and I figured it all out on my own. )

This place is a place of firsts for me. Since arriving, I've seen canadian geese, Wild swans, The change from orange leaves to red to stick trees. I've heard people speak other languages under the title of english and I've had more time on my hands than I ever thought possible. (the red dirt = red brick thing is trippin me out though... it's nutty!

I'm finally settling in. I'm shooting a set tommorow! And I got invited to a holiday party tommorow evening (I'm such a dork, but these two things are helping immensly with the easing into a new space thing! And I'm extreamly happy about shooting - It's been a while.[Thanks girly for all your advice.]

Oh AND I also found books on the insane hike I'm wanting to go on. and that got me all fired up in that direction again. (It's still on, right?)

yea.
I'm gonna have some dinner and shower and shave because well, the camera cares more about my hairy legs than I do.
(actually I've found that I'm warmer when my legs are fuzzy. strange)

oh yea... and I had tofu for lunch today! eek
