figmentation

today.
five thrity am.
I'm walking to the corner donut shop to pick up some coffee and as I'm leaving the store this guy half pulls into a space, opens his window and asks if I want a ride. (it's still dark out, I live less than a block away) I look at him weird and say no that I can walk... and walk away, around the corner and down the street carrying my coffee. The next thing I know the bugger has driven up next to me and is pacing me. I scrowl and he drives off, slowly.

grand way to start a morning eh???
(I find out when I return home that the area is known for it's hookers. - I'm somehow amuzed that someone would consider me a hooker when I'm wandering around in my bright purple pajamas not quite awake and getting coffee.)

The sun has risen, and I need to leave for work shortly.
