I happen to agree with you. And I'm inclined to think that it's not only the illegals who aren't showing up to work but mexican american citizens as well. Kind of defeats the purpose.

i'm pretty torn on the whole issue myself, it's not an easy fixer, but having a lot of ties to mexican immigrant workers I am probably biased towards that side.
I still feel like if it was an influx of "white" Europeans that were all white collar professionals there wouldn't be a problem because they are seen as desirable.
But what the fuck, Mexicans are taking all the shit jobs that us fucking Americans don't want, turn our nose up at, but it's like this intolerance towards a whole bunch of fucking brown people. That may sound ingnorant and cry babyish but this whole fucking country is a joke, economically and otherwise anyways.
Don't get me wrong that doesn't mean I think it should be a friggin' landrush, open gate to let the whole world in, but it seems pretty futile at this point to work out something fair for both sides...okay that makes this comment a rant since I don't have a solution either.
But I do think it's pretty impossible to change the way things are in Mexico, I mean it would have to be a fucking war to turn that gov't. around.
God, I love the ideal of Communism though.
