shocked we share a friend!!

I've just popped by to say thank you for my artwork which came today. love love love

It's a Polaroid transfer I think? Am I right? I love the tones like a duotone or an autochrome even.... and a beautiful scene. I can think of a few bands who'd love to use that as an album cover - ever thought of going that way with it??

Many kiss kiss kiss

It sucks that these rallies are even necessary. I have no idea why people have a such a fear of gay/lesbian marriage. It reminds me of the fear of allowing black kids into white schools back in the 50s and 60s.

My friend Rich wants to have kids when he and his boyfriend are a bit older and I would donate an egg to him in a heartbeat (we've discussed this), which seems to confuse my family beyond belief. My mom has a hard time I think, because she has met the boy and likes him (before she knew he was gay, she thought I should date him) , but is oppposed to most gay rights. I like to challenge her opinions because she has no answers other than "it just isn't supposed to be that way".

If there were marriage equality rallies around here, I'd go, but I'm in the middle of redneck nowhere. That pic of the little boy and the dog is sooo adorable.

Wow, that was longer than I anticipated. Sorry bout that.

Today was one of those days you dream about. It began with some early morning, sleepy-eyed cuddling. Then me and my girl got up and had coffee, talked awhile and made breakfast together. We tried out some Morningstar breakfast sausage and bacon. I can't say that I recommend them though. They kind of gave me the creeps. And I'm not really sure yet how I...

I have just read three books on vegetarianism and may I just say this: what the fuck am I supposed to eat? I thought I was doing well but it seems as though a lot of food is made with animal parts. I don't want to eat animals! Can't they just put a label that says weather or not dead animals were used in the...

Sunday was Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. We went to my teacher's house, which is about 2 blocks from the ocean in Morro Bay. We hiked (walked is more like it but for effect I'll call it a hike) awhile, shot some film, hiked awhile, more film, and so on. I couldn't have ordered a better day for pinhole photography. It was sunny and warm and...

i love the new profile pic! well, not sure how new it is, but i hadn't seen it yet.
i went for many years with one local t.v. station before i buckled down and subscribed to cable. now i'm a full-blown addict, which sucks. you're totally right about working with 'connections'. i'm sure that's a major part in grads finding work. too bad i'm a transplant in my little berg, and my daddy was an air force man, so no pull there either. oh well, what can ya do right.
glad you had fun taking pics on sunday. good luck with that last push to the end of the school semester!

Procrastination is a disease without a cure. I am one of the afflicted. Why is it that if you have a paper due, it's suddenly a great time to clean your closet?
And I'm tired so I'm not sure how much sense this makes.

Today was such a nice day. For anyone else it would probably be mundane and boring but I really enjoyed it.
The morning started out with my sleeping right through the alarm and missing my first class. Any other day and I would have been pissed at myself but it was not important for me to be there today.
Then, after my afternoon class I...

I just finished my essay so I am treating myself to a little SG time before I hit the sack.
I just bought a roll of slide film. I have no idea what to shoot with it. Probably landscapes considering I bought 100 speed film but who knows. We are going to start Polaroid transfers next week in my photo class. I am very excited...

I suggest shooting really simple, high contrast, bright color type of things for your polaroid transfers, I shot a bunch of stuff at a lake for mine, and then I had a few extra shots so I shot my black cat against a red background for fun. guess which ones looked better after getting all blurry on the transfer? tongue

puke =me after eating Thai food last night. Then, after sipping Poweraid all day I got up the courage to eat something. I took my lady out to dinner at a Mexican place we like. I made sure to ask if anything had meat in it and the waiter assured me that the rice, beans and entree all were meat free. Then in the middle of...

My hunny had the day off today. We went to Lompoc to the La Purissima mission and hiked to 2,000 ft. It was an amazing hike lead by a botanist. There were so many beautiful wildflowers that I took two rolls of film. This is actually the first guided hike I have been on but I think I did pretty good. I think the person...

I've been on crazy hikes led by botanists, entimologists, ornithologists, zoologists,....hmm...who else...

The best nature runs I had were in the tropical rainforests of Ecuador. When I was a little kid, I told myself that I wanted to visit the rainforest. Then I grew up and was like "pah, I'm never going to get to go deep into a rainforest". And then I did. Wow.

I'm guessing you live vicariously through my journal because you're monogomous? I was once monogomous, and I probably will be again in the future, but for now, I'm loving the poly life. smile
sexysuzy:
I was in a monogomous relationship with my current fiancee, Amy. We got together just after I came out to myself, so she was my first girl. Being monogomous for someone like me is bad enough, but being monogomous AND just getting into the queer scene without experiencing the flavours of sex was horrible.

Needless to say, we're no longer monogomous. We will be when we get married, but that's not for a while.

Ok, so I talked to my ex girlfriend last night for like two hours. Gawd I miss fucking her. I know that sounds terrible but it's true and it's all I can think about this morning. We have absolutely nothing in common though which sucks because we really get along in bed. She is adventurous and passionate beyond anything I have imagined. Just remembering the...
