hmmm for me Im starting to feel a little bit beyond sad & dissapointed Im getting into uncomfortably numb stages

Maybe you just get along better with people that are older than you. There are just certain types of people that we get drawn to and be able to hang out with without complications. I personally can't hang with people my age or older than me unless they can be just as childish as me. Probably why most of my friends are younger than me. I mean look at my two best friends, one is 2 years younger than me and the other is 3 years younger than him. Still, stay positive and try not to rush into things. The person you're looking for is out there somewhere. Could be someone you haven't met yet or could be someone you've already met but haven't looked at in that way. Just be patient.

Awww, you sound like me these days hun. LOL I feel the turmoil of which you speak! But I'm sad cuz you never mention me in your journal! Hehe. Anyway, I am just overworked, under-played, and ready to just sell everything I own, say goodbye to everyone and move far, far away. LOL

Like whoa! Seeing you on at the same time as me was kind of surreal. I'm not used to it. But yeah working part time right now is good. Why is it that they don't want you to work just because you have a broken foot? Don't you just sit at a desk all day? I know you need to keep your leg elevated and stuff but can't you just pull up a chair or something?

To bad I'm not out that way. You'd still do all the things you wanted to do. I hav no problem being seen in public with a girl on crutches. And if walking around became a hassle, I'd carry you. I am so sorry to hear about your weekend. Not a fun way to start off the summer. But yes, sitting and chatting in a calm and comfortable atmosphere sounds nice, I'll have to take you out and play nurse to you.

So is your employer going to be accomodating while you are broken?

If it makes you feel any better, my last broken bone was my jaw. Had it wired shut for eight weeks, that was miserable. Come to think of it, I lost like 20 lbs, you wanted diet tips. . .

In all seriousness, four weeks will go by faster than you realize.

Oh yeah, you should milk it for all the sympathy you can get. Better make up a really good story though, something like.... you were stepped on by a providence police horse whie they were trying to clear the crowd outside the club after the riot broke out. It'd be even better if you said you started the riot.

Hey, sorry to hear things with Lex must fizzle out, but hey, its easier than your heart getting trodden upon. Glad you had a fun weekend though, I am about to head into mine, which ought to be more fun that I am allowed.

My plans consist of a working tomorrow night at the bar with my buddy Tony, where I'll meet tons of girls because of his reality TV celebrity (I love riding the tails of his fame). Then Sunday will be a quiet day. Just been super busy this past week, gotta relax just a wee bit.

Then on Thursday I'll meet you, we'll have to solidify plans a bit more as the time grows nearer. Hope you have a great weekend, with no disappointment and lots of happy moments.

introducing lobstermania at harborside....the tribute band that looks acts & sounds just like the original lobsters......nice place!...i'm kind of partial to mr. taco....i need to see more shows,love the reggae bands that always pop up at lupos/strand,but never get there......have a great weekend!

Alone is a relative term, there's going to be a huge crowd. Besides you'll probably run into one or two acquaintances (sp?)

I thought I heard there was no alcohol at that show???

Perhaps that something coming is you .. who knows. Just be careful, I am younger than you, and you know how that can be.

Alone and drinking ... yeah, that is why I don't go out very often, partly due to the fact that I am extremely shy for the most part, but have an odd way of losing that when I feel at ease. So yes, drinking when alone at a bar or something, I do it quite heavily, and I always regret it. The reason I think for this is, I am better in intimate situations, where there are maybe just 4 or 5 people, because then you can actually have conversations and feel substance in the situation. Just my opinion on the matter.

Sorry you are depressed and dissapointed, wish there was something I could do, but figure it this way, the fun will start in a week when I actually meet you. We can go to a bar and not be alone, how's that sound? By the way, if you liked the oatmeal cookie shot, be forewarned, I am a pro with alchohol, I might have to teach you a few new drinks.
