Well, I just spent most of the afternoon and evening working on my backyard. I bought a grill to sink into the counter of the outdoor kitchen I'm building. In addition to the grill, it will have a fireplace, and wine refrigerator.
I also (with the help of friends and neighbors) put up a privacy screen trellis next to my hot tub. It was tough work.
The place is shaping up. I'll hopefully be having a serious barbeque/hot tub party there soon.

I have one more question though as I can't seem to get a straight answer out of anyone of my friends.
I will be there like 13 days and I have heard it is really expensive.. so as to not be left short... do you have any idea how much money I should take?, well, I mean daily.. Plus I don't really plan on doing a lot of shopping or anything, just traveling around w / the JR pass and sight seeing.. maybe some clubing.. food and that kind of stuff.
any info will help.
