Well, yesterday we had the SG UBC meet-up. UBC is the University up here in Vancouver. Its where I live. It was just three of us. Angelvanilla, wottan, and me. I should of been more but plain_ol_jane got the idea into her head that they didn't serve Vegan food at the restaurant. We went to Dv8 which if you have been to one of the parties we have had there you would know that there is like 12 vegan menu items. The Vegan and Vegetarian friendlyness is half the reason that we picked it for SG events. Oh well her loss.
Wottan is super nice and is a geek in all the right ways. He even likes Invader Zim. We went to dinner at Dv8 then we went back to his residence at UBC called Vanier and we watched a movie. We rented that movie, 'The Girl Next Door'. An enjoyable waste of time. We ended up watching it in the Lounge area of Wottan's floor rather than his room because his compy's dvd software went buggy on us.
So we ended up watching the movie with other people from his rez including the RA. After that the group of us now five or so went around to the other mini parties in the buildings and well drinking.
Excellent fun.

my goodness - who DOESN'T like invader zim? other than my boy, who is stubbornly determined to be frustrated by its G rated removal from johnny the homicidal maniac. though he *did* deign to buy me the second volume zim dvd.
