I'm a woman. - she needs help
I'm sick- she can't take care of herself
I'm tattooed. - she's irresponsible
I'm a model. - she's empty and vapid
I'm attractive. -she's stupid
I pose nude. - she's a slut
For the past two years I have struggled with this. People who take one glance at me and judge my character based on my appearance. Heck two years.... That's our lives. However, I have found modeling has brought more of the issues into the light for me.
I don't care anymore.
I live my life with happiness and joy because I have beliefs and I stick to them.
The past few months on SG have transformed these stigmas into small obstacles for me now. All the members and models are so supportive. I'm grateful to be apart of this community.
I feel happy and empowered. I feel like those stereotypes can't bring me down because I have a group of people who understand.
