I went to my first SGBoston event this weekend, which was a lot of fun. Though it was Bailey and Sid's birthday, Bailey couldn't make it (for lack of transport), which was both ironic and unfortunate.

Some observations:

-- Sid is incredibly cute (and very tiny) in person. At one point I found myself staring at her back lacings in rapt fascination.

-- Everybody was very nice to me even though I was basically some random person they'd never met before. Thank you!

-- I used to go to ManRay long long ago in college. Being back now after so many years was strange: the place was pretty much the same (except less smoke), but the people were all different. I might be different, too.

-- I still have my ManRay clothes somewhere, but I don't know where, and there's very little chance they would still fit anyway

I love Boston Can't wait to be back for good.
