i got digital cable this past week. so i spent all day sunday watching tv. i like all the different channels we get. i saw a movie on lifetime, yes i watch lifetime, that was really good. it was about this high school freshman who went to a party and subsequently got raped. the movie dealt with how she made it through that school year....

I really wish I had the right words to help the both of you. I'm not sure I do. (That would be arrogant of me to think that I did, anyways, right?) My divorce and the reasons for it were very different to the place you two find yourselves. The one similarity is that I bottled things up instead of communicating and that caused a lot more pain then it could have been had I opened up a lot sooner. Communication is key. It may not save your marriage but it will help you both understand where each other is at and that helps avoid misunderstanding and the animosity that comes with it. You have children... Make sure they all know how much you love them. Part of that love is having respect for the other partner, no matter what. I really hope you both find the answers that keep you together.
