- I FINALLY got aholed of HR for my company. And here is the news....
If my short term disabilty is accepted they can't lay me off at this time. Which means as log as I'm going to a doctor and doing my check ups with them that I get disability payments for the next 3 montsh approx. At that time I call them back - if they don't have a place for me which they probably wont I'll pick up my package then. Which would include getting FULL pay for the next 2 months.
This to me would be the best case.
If my disability is NOT accepted I am laid off right away and pick up my package now.
Either way I still did not get paid for this pay term and am pretty much stranded in Ontario.
