So I got a dog!
Seems like I haven't been on here in forever. It may as well have been forever. Anyways, to the more important fact.
I got a dog.
She was going to be put down in a high kill shelter in Georgia. Somehow the word came up here through the No Name Dog Foundation that within hours, this adorable girl was going to be given a hefty dose of uthasol. My friend knew I was looking for a dog so she showed me her picture and I was instantly in love.
Through some kind of doggie underground railroad, she was shuffled north. She had a cut on her eye that needed surgery and she needed to spend some time in quarantine (as per Massachusetts regulations). About a month later I went to see her for the first time.
She was a crazy little furry bundle of awesome.
I named her Mayhem.
