@missy and @rambo thought it would be cool for us to do the Actor's Studio Questionnaire. I also think it's a cool idea :)
If you don't know what it is, it was originally from a french show but is more commonly known as the questions James Lipton asks every guest on Inside the Actors Studio. Check out the show if you've never seen it, by far my favourite is the voice actors of Family Guy.
Anyway, onto the questionnaire!
What is your favourite word?
I have a few words that I like;
ailurophile - a cat-lover
eloquence - fluent or persuasive speaking or writing
demure - reserved, modest or shy
tinker - an act of attempting to repair something
plethora - a large or excessive amount of something
...to name a few. My favourite word I would probably say is epitome - a person or thing that is the perfect example of a particular quality or type.
What is your least favourite word?
This is easy....moist. I mean what is that word, it automatically invokes the feeling of ickiness. I suppose that means it's doing what it should as a word but I still hate it.
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
I think pure love and passion. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone with true love for something or someone. Likewise, it makes me want to pick up my camera and capture the moment, share that feeling with the world.
What turns you off?
Lack of education. I'm not talking about people who aren't academic. I'm talking about decisions, feelings and emotions that are based on un-education (I realise that I probably just made up that word). I could not switch off quicker than when someones work or views are uninformed.
What is your favourite curse word?
If you go by how much I say it....fuck. I'm a big fan of perfectly timed swearing, it can really add to the emotion of a sentence.
What sound or noise do you love?
My son's laugh! I recorded it when he was one year old and got the sound wave tattooed. Now whenever I look at it I immediately hear the laugh in my head.
What sound or noise do you hate?
I generally struggle with anything high-pitched. It just gets my back up for some reason. Or anything that repeats. Drives me mad!
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I would love to do property development. I really like the idea of having a project and creating a home. Maybe one day I'll be able to invest.
What profession would you not like to do?
Anything where I would need to care for other people that could die. Emotionally I wouldn't be able to handle that, I admire the strength in people who do those jobs.
