ugh.

so i'm really sick of my current job. i sent my resume to a nice place that is hiring and waiting to hear back. i ate lunch there yesterday and it was fantastic. not to mention that 2 steps from the entrance to the restaurant is a gondola to beaver creek. i've also been looking for work in Denver and Boulder.

anyways, the exec where i work is leaving soon. i HATE the smug german F&B Director who in my opinion has no idea what he's doing. and i will not work for whatever chef he hires.

i'm also sick of things like this weekend . . . the busiest were going to be since the mountain closed and the casual restaurant chef (who makes his own schedule) took FRIDAY and SATURDAY off leaving me and the banquet chef to run HIS kitchen. not to mention that he also took tuesday off. his rationale for taking 3 days off this week "well i worked 6 days last week". That was his 1st week back from vacation. MY first week back from vacation i worked 73 hours and two 6 day weeks in a row.

i'm tired of things like that being okay where i currently work and the sooner i'm done there the better off i'll be.
