Yep...alright...they are both gone to school. Summer, for them, is over.

Thankfully, Facebook decided to share memories from the past, and today, it shared a photo that I took of the kids 8 years ago, which was a first day of school then...and I was able to put that and a photograph that I took this morning, side by side together.

@amberetta it really is bittersweet.  And like you, I do miss them being so small.  Those were the fun times...before they were a pain in the ass...lol, and before the sibling rivalry become possibly bloody.

First day of High School

Yes, the little girl is now officially a high school freshman. I cannot believe it. I am 34 years old (an old man by some people's standards, and trust me I feel it today) and my little girl is in high school now...it is crazy. She was excited to go however. She almost bounced out of bed.
