So...yesterday I went back out to Swope Park and photographed the Rangers they were defeated by Reno 1868 FC 4-1. As you all know that I am a game day photographer for the Rangers, and this is my second season with them. HOWEVER, the league (United Soccer League or the USL) keeps publishing my photos with someone else's name attached to them, and the other photographer is a friend of mine and yes he photographs for the Rangers as well, but still is annoying. Here are the examples.
The United Soccer League wrote an article about yesterday's game and used three different photos for the same article, each time giving credit to Nick and not me. I was able to screenshot/photograph two of the images.
Here is image one.
And here is the close up of the photo credit.
As you ca see, it is attributed to Nick. Now this is the second image that they used, but it is my image, and here is the actual shot that was they used.
Now this would not be that bad of thing if they just changed who took the photo. Like I said...this was the second time already that they had used a different photo and given the credit to someone else.
But no, they decided to change it again, for the third time, and came up with this.
As you can see, Nick was given credit again. I finally had enough. I contacted two different people after this and bitched about it. Yes, this is my photo and here is the full photo that they were using.
So yeah...I am not sure what the hell is going on, but they have done this more than once now and it is upsetting that I have to keep going over this with them. I am not sure why ad what I have to do...but still. Damn. I shouldn't have to do it in the first place...right?
In the end however, the issue was corrected and I was given credit in the end...as of this morning...and the article can be found here.
