So, little does a lot of people know that over the past month I have been going to the gym. It was a personal choice, I was tried of how large I had gotten over the past year plus, so I decided to take care of it finally. SO yeah, basically during the month of July (and the very last part of June) I started going to Planet Fitness with Sam.
I am very happy to say, that even though my weight has not really gone down that much (That I am not going to say what it is...) I have lost two pant sizes! I have gone from a 38 mens (US size, from when I last bought jeans) back down to a 34, which I have not been down to in god knows how long. I honestly don't remember when I last bought a size 34...this is pretty amazing. And the last shorts I bought were a size 40...so I am three sizes down from that.
I know that people say this all of the time but it is real. This has brought me a lot of self confidence today and I feel really good about myself. It has been a LONG time coming, but I am excited to see where another month at the gym takes me and what will happen by the end of the year.
All I know is that I start my new job in a few days and I will be very happy to be able to buy some slimmer clothes and walk into there with a lot of confidence.
