So, I was thinking earlier today about some of the people that I have been able to photograph over my years as a photographer, and one photograph that has come back to my mind is the quick portrait that I was able to take of funk legend George Clinton from 2015 when he stopped in my home city of Lawrence, KS for the Free State Festival. That was a hell of a weird way that I was able to take this portrait, but never-the-less, I was able to take ONE very quick photo, no set up time, basically come here and snap, and then go, and this is what I got.
I was able to shake his hand after it was done too. It was amazing that the photo came out like it did. I am still shocked but still very happy that it did. Sometimes I still amaze myself thinking back to everything I have been able to do over my career as a photographer.
