Last night was a lot of fun, finally being Halloween. I normally don't do much for Halloween, at least over the past few years, because I have been so busy and just didn't live in the area of my small city where I had a lot of people trick-or-treating.
However, this year, this year was different. I now live in a better populated area, with a lot of other houses in the area passing out candy. So I decided to dress up and have a little fun. I just wanted to do a clown, had my mind on this WAY before all of the "Clown Sightings" crap that hit the US news over the past few weeks. There was a part of me that, after seeing all of these headlines, thought against doing a clown this year. However, I thought if I stayed in my place, handed out candy, I should be fine.
SO, after a few hours in the library yesterday finishing up homework, I decided to head home and get ready. That was a lot of fun. This is what I looked like for the night. (Sorry if you hate clowns, well sorry not sorry...)
Had a lot of people come by, and only one kid was scared...he was like 13 years old...which was funny.
However, I will say this...I did not go as Captain Spaulding. However, I got enough comments that I looked so much like him, that I figured, no matter where I am at next Halloween (because of graduating school and work) I will go out as Captain Spaulding next year, and see how that goes.
