No new photographs to post...as of yet. Been taking a little time off to get ready for the BUSY fall I am going to have in a couple of weeks...September 14th to be exact. It is rather funny time though, because I have been thrown back into the mix at my old undergraduate university, on two different fronts. First and foremost, it appears that my help as a consultant for my old job that I had while I was at Baker University at the Quayle Historic Bible Collection and Museum. This reasoning is because I spent a year and a half basically researching a tapestry that is in there (there might be some older posts about it somewhere in my blogs back from like 2013/2014 time) and with the new exhibit that the museum is doing, they need my research for it. SO, I get to in form the new people (because my boss at the time actually retired this past summer, so there are all new people in there PERIOD) about my research, bring out all of my old notes and papers, emails and so on.
THANK GOD I have some fucking time between this past summer semester (which I got an A in my class) of graduate school and this fall quarter. Because not only will I be working on that, but I have just also been hired as a freelance photographer for Baker because their old University Photographer left from there to the University of Kansas to go work.
Good thing is that Soccer season is basically over for me now. I have only three more games to shoot, all of which are in October (Two Olympic Qualifying games and the last home game for Sporting KC) and then I am done with that until at least the spring. That means I focus strictly on doing the photos for Baker and for graduate school.
HOWEVER, I do have one piece of fun news. Looks like I will be able to photograph the Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque show when it comes to Lawrence on Sept. 29th. SO, I should have some good photos of all varieties coming up soon. That means, even if I don't post anything picture wise in the next week or so, don't worry, there will be a TON coming up soon with the shit I take for Baker (work), SCAD (school), Suicide Girls (school/work/portfolio), and then International Soccer (portfolio work), and one last Sporting KC game (work).
