Okay 2 days in to Week 2 of P90X and I feel so run down but SO stoked to keep going. For a large guy this says alot. I've had people ask why the sudden drive to go all fit, and I've been telling them its not sudden, but there are three main reasons.

1) My health. I was diagnosed with weight-based sleep apnea. The cure? Quit being a fatass.
2) I do NOT want one of those machines to lull me to sleep for the rest of my life. I don't give a fuck how restful they are I'm only 30 and in otherwise good shape! I'll save the sleep machine for when I'm an old man, man.
3) I'm tired of the rare few times I've had sex recently not being able to see the show. Its a kink of mine, but I like to watch the act of sex. It is what it is.

Here's some more poetry. I call it 'Masks'

His mask is procelin,
ash white to hide blood red.
His mask is Duty,
hard lines to cover a soft heart.
Her mask is Resolve,
to hide that all she wants to do is give up and give in.

So many faces we wear,
so meany masks we put between us,
so many devious deceptions to delve and deconstruct.
Time we put the vaneer down.

His life is Pain,
to be healed and find peace.
His life is the faith of others,
for in saving them he saves themselves.
Her life is the future,
cuz we all have it, even when we reach for our masks to hide from it.
