Oh man! I just checked the schedule. What a weekend not to be in Detroit. Three fights nights, Thursday-Sat. 
Hearns...as in the fucking "Hitman" Hearns is fighting on Saturday night, but the ESPN fights are between Antonio Davis and Koba Gogoladze and possibly a Mary-jo Sanders fight.
Really they could have combined all three events into one huge one for ESPN.

I'm not a fan of Cool J (except his first two lp's) but this track is fucking awesome, same kind of 'i wanna rip someones head off' type vibe to it with a squelchy as fuck bassline. I'm at one of those crossroads in my life points as well. Instead of the music industry, its beer brewing and pub ownership.
Parents I would say think of things in terms of what can you be doing now, and somewhat play down "dreams" and try to be more realistic.
Which is why, although college isn't necessarily what I want to be doing, I'm just doing it to "get a degree" and that's it.
Parents would prefer that, then me just dropping out for a bit to concentrate on my dream of becoming a brewmaster or owning my own pub.
My advice to you is, you can do both. You can be in school and taking an internship in the music business or something like that.
Then, you know your dream is something you actually want to do, or something that may not be practical...and your still in school doing something you kinda like doing.
Definitely take a run at the dream though, otherwise it'll eat away at you.

I've actually gotten a lot of my friends into boxing since I've been at college, and they can't really stand Heavyweight fights either.
I think 125-130-140 fights could be the best for overall action.
