In a manner of speaking...



I thought I would start with some random art. I love this and see it quite often in public places. I think everybody should post a little bit if random art to brighten the world.

I am not quite sure I remember how to do this....this journal has been neglected and I have been somewhat focused on other endeavours. Truth be told I am intimidated to update...so much has happened in the past 3 months. It would take me forever to share with y'all everything. I mean seriously...I have been very fortunate to travel alot this summer. I got to visit Brockton, MA to hang out dorwayin and ShellyMC in the beginning of May.

They are such cool people !

Then in late May I went with my older blood sister to visit NYC. A City I can never seem to tire of. While we were there I got to see Afterbirth, anaxerete and Corpho.

Wow they are such cool people too !

June was mostly mellow, I started back at school....aaagh summer school is not fun, half the time and double the work. I am at school over 40 a week most weeks and am still working full time. So June blurred by as they sem to do most months. Although don't feel sorry for me. I love it. School makes me feel good, like I am finally working to a better future and I really get a kick out of learning new things. I am a big dork like that.

So July has been pretty kewl so far. I went to Seattle to meet SurlyMike and Holigatita. Again, super cool people. Also got to hang out with to hang out dorwayin and ShellyMC again. It was an awesome trip and since it was right before my birthday I felt like the whole week was a bit of celebration. I even got 2 individual birthday dinners. How lucky am I ?

Special thanks to my friends here who wished me a Happy Birthday. I was shocked that so many people remembered. Truth be told my 2 best friends in the real world both forgot. So did my family. It seems to happen every year. Your comments were an extra ray of sunshine on a mostly ordinary day.

So for those of you interested my course of study is Linguistics with French and Spanish focus. Eventually I would like to teach children. I have already begun contacting embassies and consulates for when I graduate and exploring options of places to go travel. Asia is quite appealing and there is also a very innovative company in Canada that I am speaking with. I dont have much to say to them other than I am student and interested in their methods. It is good to begin networking though.

I have ideas to teach, children and eventually adults in a fully interactive way, involving art, cameras, songs. The whole shee-bang. This is a bit of what I am talking about.

I am quite smitten with this photo, despite it's off composition. I just like it.



I hope everybody is doing well and understands that I am still around, even if I don't comment i am likely reading the majority of the journals still.
