I use a Sidekick phone, it allows me to be connected 24/7 to the intraweb, and there's a new hardware revision coming out. I can get $100 off and get it early if I sign up for another year of service. The phone's damn useful, and I do need a cell. Might take them up on the deal
All I have to do is show up for work. I'm not taking the cartpusher job (I'm too old and too smart to do it, it's undignified and my debt will be paid anyways and I also have another job) so I don't really care about the quality of my work anymore. I'm just showing up and getting paid. I don't think anyone will notice or kick up too much of a fuss. My manager, he feels the same way I do. Pretty much everyone does.
Not that I have a poor work ethic. But I've been working harder than everyone for a long time.
