So, I applied at a place yesterday. I'll do another couple of Apps today as well before bed. Oh, and I have to call the girl
But about my current job... I would like, in a perfect world, to give two weeks notice. However, I'm on the horns of a dilemma. If I give my two weeks now, I could be out of a job...

Today is my last day of a weekend. I'm going back to work tomorrow night with the hope it will be ending soon. I'm checking up on some leads for jobs all day tomorrow, and that's fantastic for me. I saw a "custodian" job that needed experience. my first job was custodian at Boise State's Extension Campus in Nampa... and I did Custodian work as...

Wrists that beg the razor's edge... I've met them before, in the silent halls, lit green to calm and with the sterile scent of insanity wafting on circulated air. Casts protecting veins slit lengthwise, the stitching closed off from light as her forearm thumped incessantly against her skull, her hate for life unsatiated by drug or doctor.

The waking world the world of man knows only shadows of the pain and evil that hides behind the lided eye. Few have the strength or lack of it to do in the waking world what others do in the dream world. We pity those that give in to their demons, we pity them because we know where the evil comes from, we pity them because we fear we will be the next to fall.
And in the end it is but one choice made that has any meaning. One choice that rings through the heavens and sets us free...

$633 for my damn car repairs... Sigh. Had to put it on a card... But repairs beat breaking down on the way to Idaho a month from now.I've been dealing with the car all day. It is supposed to be done by 6 pm. I went to see The Bourne Supremacy... It was a good show, much like the first one. I know many people...

Good luck with the job thing. Try to play up that you are very close. They may overlook some of the experiance thing if they know that you are likley to stay because it is conveniant for you geographicly.

If I could count the amount of times people had told me I should go into psychology, I'd be a pretty... high... counter.
That's a damn lot of schooling though. schooling I can't afford as it is. getting at least a master's degree to have a job, and a doctorate to have a good one. Sure, it'd be something I'd be good at, something my...

I'm going to be taking every scrap of billing and bank statement today, burning the stuff I don't need and also don't need floating around with account numbers, names, and sensitive info on them, and tossing the rest. this will coorespond with 50% of the rest of the cleaning I have to do in my room to make it presentable.

Pharmacy and Stress: I worked 6.5 years in the pharmacy and it was the most stressful job I have ever held. So much so that I took a huge pay cut to go play video games for a living. Early in my career I went to Canada for 7 weeks in the middle of winter working 80+ hours a week. The stress level just began to touch what the level was in the pharmacy. If it were just filling little bottles that would be a snap but there is so much more to it. I highly reccomend getting a part time job at a pharmacy if that is the road you are considering. Keep in mind that stress is diferent for everyoen. I can test video games for a long time and not feel any stress (longest shift was 28 hours), granted the money is nothing compared to being a pharmacist but in our department we had college professors, comodities brokers, ex engineers, etc. All of them left the drudgery of their jobs for a much more laid back work environment. I know you are not sure what to do with your life and right now I have no other advice for you, I will pray and hopefully God will show the way, and you will recognize it when he does &^).

P.S. The story was a reprise of one I had written several years ago. I recreated it because a friend on live journal had posted one and she was working with me when I wrote it the first time. i thought I would post it here as well because I was bored.

I decided to clean and organize the bathroom instead of call about my education. But what would I have said really?
"Hi, I know it's the busiest time of the year for you, but I'd like some questions that I don't really need answered for 2-3 months answered right this minute, please."

Are you wanting to become a pharmacist? How can I talk you out of it? I worked for 6.5 years as a Pharmacy Tech and with over 40 RPHs. Of them maybe 4 enjoyed what they do. Several only worked part time because they had found jobs they actually enjoyed. One went to law school get out of the biz.
Most just came to work broken and bitter. It is the ultimate medical middle man. They are pulled by the patient, the corperation, the doctor, the insurance, and the state. I implore you, take a job as pharmacy clerk before you start into any heavy schooling. Every clerk and tech I know that thought about becoming a pharmacist changed their minds (myslef and my Ex included). If you are thinking research or hospital at might be different but I can't see retail being that different anywhere in the states, at the least talk to the pharmacists in your area and ask them what they think. Tell them you are thinking of becoming one and see if they try to dissuade you...
Seriously, if you have any questions I will answer what ever I can.

I'm going to call U-Dub tomorrow and find out more about their pharmacy program.
Then I'll go down to my local Community College and see what I can get done there for the prepharm portion.
I need to find a day job too. I probably can't find anything better than what I got now - menial labor, and crap for pay... but I'm tired of...

Last week went alright for me, thank you for asking. This weekend (and just this last weekend) are a little more stressful than the last, but I'm hanging in =) Just a couple more day of not sleeping will be worth all of the fun and relaxation I will soon be loathing in.

Well, 5 more hours of vaccuuming.
Then job hunting.
Wish me luck.
EDIT: So far, everyone I've read ads for wants experience. How the heck am I supposed to get experience if everyone wants experience?!?!?! it's a vicious circle...
and I'm tired, I've been up for 24 hours, and I'm going to bed for a while.

hey there mr...
my experience with pilates is at home only, and i think that is best... but i guess i wouldn't know otherwise... here is my thinking on the pilates issue:
pilates takes loads of balance, practice, and flexability... now if you are like me, and need a wee bit o' practice with balance and such, it may be best to do it at home. i also like it at home because it is on my schedule- no one elses... plus, i really get into the breathing and relaxing parts to pilates, and by being by myself, i can focus best.
i can pass on some videos i enjoy if you're interested
hope you are feeling absolutely lovely and wonderful!!

So far, I've spent $350 on the car, my insurance being most of that
Fortunately, the one tire probably cand just be "fixed", and so I'm hoping I won't go over $500 on the car. It's not going to set me back too much, and hopefully I can find a better job awith the effort I'm putting into the car. Oil is being changed now...

I talked to the Orange Julius girl Saturday. she remembered me, and she introduced herself/asked my name. I didn't get her number because it was busy, the shop had just run out of smoothie powder, and her cash register broke down, but I did find out that she's just working for the summer, then it's back off to college. she seemed receptive though, which gives...
