I didn't realise just how long it had been since I last posted anything here.
That's not necessarily a bad thing I suppose, nor good for that matter. Life has just been fairly boring almost to the point of tediousness the past couple of months. It's not a great situation but at least not everything has gone to shit or anything.
Last night though was fucking amazing.
Went to see local Brisbane band Violent Soho at their new album preview gig at a tiny little 100 capacity club in the city called Crowbar with my mate Josh and Sci from another Brissy band DZ Deathrays.
It was a proper sweaty loud hard fucking rock gig at a tiny little venue and a metric fucktonne of booze before, during and after. If that show is anything to go by, the new album is going to be an absolute fucking banger.
If you haven't heard or heard of Violent Soho (or DZ Deathrays for that matter) I absolutely recommend checking them out. Amazing bands and rad dudes to boot.
