So I think, well I'll just go hang out, but then I got tricked into playing. So I played, and I wasn't that bad as long as the ball didn't come towards me. Yes, I even ran around the bases. I never run! But I did today! There were only 2 girls. I had on a skimpy tank top and the other girl had on a skirt and combat boots. I found my skimpy tank top was actually quite useful in distracting the other team. Especially when I pitched the ball.
So we're playing our 2nd game and I'm up to kick, so I kick the ball- start to run and fall and twist my knee, did something to my ankle and couldn't get up right away. Managed to play the rest of the game, with minimal running. Get home, wash all the dirt and dust off of me and check out all the damage. So far I only have two bruises (in my inner thighs no less!?) and a swollen ankle. Who knows how many more bruises will show up tomorrow!
But that totally reminded me why I don't like to play sports...I always get injured!!
I think we're planning on doing this every sunday! So...this should be pretty interesting.
