The reality of fatherhood is starting to sink in.
My g/f is about seven months pregnant with our first child, a son. This weekend we went to an ultrasound clinic that does this neat 3D ultrasound, that gives you a pretty decent picture of what your child looks like. I got to see him yawn, which was awesome.
The weird thing about it is that being a dad was always something that was going to happen somewhere down the line; some vague unspecified place, always in the future. This weekend I've realized that future is almost here, standing in my path. Its both terrifying and exciting. Yeesh, I hope I can deal with it.
