I love craigslist; My room is furnished from craigslist, with the free couch, free shelving, and two very nice desks for $80 that I have, but I will soon be able to add a new item to that list:
A Hot Tub.
Not just anyt hot tub mind you, but a rather nice, new-ish hot tub in perfect working shape, all for the low, low price of FREE!
I met the lady yesterday; she just wants more space since she doesn't use it that often, and being a laywer and all, she'd rather give the thing away than hassle with selling it.
Today I went over to drain it and disconnect the electrical, and Sunday I take it home!
You have no idea how stoked I am. I keep telling everyone I know how I'm getting a hot tub. I tell my coworkers who don't care, I tell my friends I already told; I'm that stoked.
Anyway, there will surely be many fun parties (especially since my house is already the best place ever for parties
) which will include that SG housewarming party I've been meaning to have. Anyway, I'm quite happy. I thought I'd share.

We had a hottub at my last house and it was pretty rockin' except for the weekly maintenance which really wasn't that bad.
There's nothing nicer after a long day of work than jumpin' in the hottub with a beer and some Brian Eno on the headphones.
