Yeah, the changes to the site aren't all that great but they aren't nearly as awful as the last HUGE overall mess they foisted upon us. That was nearly a deal breaker for even me.
Keep at it, sugar. I know things are sucky for you right now. Things WILL turn around for you. They simply can't stay wretched forever unless you let them so keep leanin' that shoulder into it and tell the world "fuck you! I'm going forward no matter what!" (now, if I'd only practice what I preach...... )

Actually, I DID bring Jerome with me. The girls entrusted him to me and I hauled him all the way from Portland. But I just wasn't into it like when all four of us are together and I barely snapped a handful of boring pictures. In fact, there was a "no photos" rule posted in the trade show exhibit hall and I actually had two different rent-a-cops in two different parts of the arena stop me after snapping a picture and ask me to knock it off. It kind of killed the buzz.
The crazy ladies all had their own reasons for not going, but me? I'm an academic junkie and decided to go on my own. It was a good meeting but it just didn't have the vibe of last year.
