well the convention was some fun. we got there a bit late. hmm i went to bed at 1:30 thursday night then attempted to wake up at 5 to get ready, finally peeled myself outta bed around 540 and got ready. we were on the road at 7. we WERE making good time until we hit NY city, wich we got stuck in about 2 hours of traffic, right through to NJ. we got to Cherry Hill around 2:30, checked into the hotel, and got back in the car to find the HILTON. luckily it was right down the street. Cherry Hill nj is really nice. anyway, we got there and it's WICKED crowded. there were alot of people, we go in look around, meet doug bradley and then i proceed to have apanic attack and have to go outside for a while. we ventured back inside were erich meet the author Joe Knetter (fucking read his shit, it's the sickest shit you'll ever read.) he gave us a discount on his book which is a compilation of his short stories, and gave us a free poster and a free matted and framed short story. then we waited for 2 hours in a line to meet robert englund stuck in front of this FANAZTIC that swears his life will not be complete if he doesnt meet robert englund. i wish i had a tape recorder. THEN the security gaurd cuts of the line right before the adorable couple in front of us, who had also been waiting a bit longer than we had. we all starrt to bitch about how weve all been waiting just as long as those people who go to go in before us. so he proceeds to go talk to robert and robert gives him the OK to send us in, as well as about 6 others who were behind us but were waiting the same amount of time as we were. everyone behind those 6 were shit outta luck. i mean i can understand because rob's been signing autographs since 10 in the morning non stop, and now it's 530 and he was scheduled to leave at 6. so we meet robert englund and he's SO nice, and enthuasiastic and upbeat. e get our 8X10 but for some reason didn't ask for a picture. we took a total of 2 pictures there ( i guess we just weren't feelin it.) after that ordeal we talked to elvira and bill jonhson (leatherface in TCM2) and then we shopped. shopping was my favorite part. i got a badass evildead chick hoodie. we drove to freidnly's and got some grub, and went back to the convention. stopped at the bar, had a few drinks, and watched the nightmare on elmstreet panel do a Q&A. after that we were damn tired so went back to the hotel and passed out. all in all it was a fun time but it was a bit rushed, the next one will be better since we are getting the 3 day pass.
