Well, it's 12:29am so it is now officially day 12 on Suicide Girls. Thanks for the shout out Aya.
Anyway, you'll never guess what I did on day 11. I went out, bought a guitar and started taking lessons. Crazy! It's a lot of fun and I'm lucky to have a bit of a music background. I played piano for 8 yrs when I was a kid, then the alto sax for a couple, and finally the clarinet for another few. I've never liked percussion and I wanted to try a string instument.
It was a toss up between a guitar and a violin. I decided guitar because it would be cheaper to get one, and easier to find lessons for. Actually, as it turns out...the kind of guitar style I want to play is not very common. I'm having trouble finding someone to teach classical and spanish style (flamenco) guitar. I figured everybody and their mama's play the guitar. I should do it a little differently.
That and the fact that I went to the Stunz and Farah concert last week inspired me.
Well, I'm off. Wish me luck with the guitar and getting up in the morning to hit the gym. I'm feeling like a bum. I'll update later on, please believe.
