Ah, update time!!!!
This week is going to be crazy awesome!
Today, I went to rent a suit. I feel like such a goon in formal wear, so we'll see how this turns out. I pick it up on Thursday.
I have been a fan of Friends Of Dean Martinez for a while, but I had fallen behind on buying their new albums. So I ordered the latest two. I just got them in the mail today, and holy crap are they great!!!! I am so in love with this band right now!!!!! If you think you might like country/lounge/surf/desert instrumental music, you HAVE to go download and love to be the master of hate!!!!! This is just too amazing, I need to spread the word!!! Also, along with the CDs they included two really cool posters of the band and a sampler of other stuff on the label. I can't wait to check that out!
Thursday is the From Autumn To Ashes + Atreyu + Eighteen Visions show. That's obviously going to rule!!!
And then comes Prom!
Friday, I am going to meet up with Sorcha and TiffanyJewel and make the drive to Toronto. Then we must find a cheap hotel for the night, that oughta be fun. What we are going to do Saturday pre-prom is a mystery. I have a feeling that it's going to invlove trying to locate the other members who are in town. Then we go to the prom! I'm so excited and nervous. There are gonna be like 50-60 SGers there! It's gonna be so much fun!!! I WILL NOT forget my camera!
So, on the subject of prom, this will be my 10 year anniversary since I went to my high school prom. Wow 10 years.... Anyway, in honor of that, here is my porm picture from way back when -
