So, last night John (you know him as painjunkie06), and I went to The Intersection to see my friend, Chris and his band Kamilla play for their CD release party. 4 bands played, Fled Five, Burning Down (formally Five Pointe O), Johnny Logic, and Kamilla.
When we arrived, John got his "metal" ready -
We agonizingly sat through though Fled Five. Possibly the most boring thing ever. Every song sounded the same, as you can see, neither of us was impressed -
Burning Down was up next, they chugged through a punishing metal onslaught. They have a drastically different sound from when they were Five Pointe O, I guess that's what losing and then replacing half the band does. Good shit, though at times a tad bit monotonous.
Johnny Logic took the stage. They were decent for a local band, and seemed to have a loyal following, but nothing too impressive, really -
Then Kamilla took the stage -
They rocked -
They rolled -
And ripped -
And cranked through a solid set. Proving once again they are possibly the best unsigned band here in West Michigan -
Judging from the massive crowd, these kids are on their way up. So when they are on the cover of Rolling Stone (OK, maybe not), remember who introduced you to them -

Now, you will see me one more time if you do good. You'll see me two more times if you do bad. Goodnight.
