I kinda feel bad for a friend of mine.

He's been chasing this girl almost relentlessly so far -- doing anything he can for her, hanging out with her, trying things to get her to like him.

But she never liked him in that way in the first place. She flat out told him on a couple occassions.

Still, he persisted, hoping it was just a charade and that maybe she'd see what a great guy he is... and well, he is a great guy. He went to great lengths not just to impress her, but just to get her to see that he's a nice guy.

And I concur, he is awesome. This is the kind of guy who'd rather help you out than sit at home infront of the TV or spend his time selfishly.

However, he feels used. This girl just reamed on him the other night after weeks of acting ungrateful and mean. And she really just laid waste to his feelings...

and she managed to get his nice mountain bike stolen.

How sweet.

Now I know this girl -- she's the incredibly talented guitarist who makes me shiver when she plays. She's the one I want to start a band with and totally get lost in eachother (in a way, but not the dirty way).

So yeah.. I dunno. I know why she did the things she did, but she totally just made my friend a mess. Partly his fault too for not getting a hint sooner. I just dunno if I can handle the responsibilities of mending things up...

since both are an integral part of the posse.
