I have a complicated legal identity, because my parents made poor decisions. I should have legally changed my name when I was younger and still had enough years remaining to bother with such things.
Every time somebody follows me here, or on some social media site, I feel a little guilty. Why? Because I remain totally uninteresting and I feel like I have wasted your time.

I guess in a way, our ability to entertain others has become our social currency. Very few people seem concerned with the intrinsic value of a fellow human being. That's quite sad actually.

So I ordered a bottle of "beard oil" from amazon. It arrived broken. They demanded that I return the defective product if I wanted a refund or replacement … not the remnants of the bottle mind you, but the actual product. Wut?
