for all the misery and inconvenience that rain causes, there's two things that i'm always thankful for. when it rains in LA, it washes the smog out of the air and we're blessed with at least a few days of clear air. and i'd be hard pressed to find a better setting for some serious makin out than a cool rain storm during the hot summer months.

i feel you on the need of some creative inspiration...i lived in savannah, georgia for a few months some odd years ago...and i had a friend who wrote...poetry..stories..whatever...and she was like my muse...she totally made me want to write...to do something...whether it be taking pictures at a cemetery or to draw...put something down on paper...she fed me...and now...when she's wherever she is..i feel malnourished...like i'm getting dumber every day....

those guest speakers are meant to motivate and inspire rather than make you feel small and insignificant. don't think for a second that those same speakers weren't (or aren't) saddled by the same doubts as you.
