Okay, so I'm new, and don't generally blog but I'll get used to it ...and I have a feeling once I get started I may never shut up! Which could be a problem.
Today was just one of those great tranquil days, although, I felt sort of guilty celebrating Labor day seeing as how I didn't labor too much this past year, but had fun, nonetheless.
Spent the day with my absolute dearest, Vimes. Literally milled around a bookstore for half the day, sat in the park for a while, it was very "zen." I think we may have surpassed our caloric intake for the day, as well, we ate and drank quite a bit : )
Loved it. Also had a blast this weekend. Anyway, I'm seizing the opportunity to get to sleep a little earlier tonight. Tomorrow I may get a bit more introspective, as one of my best friends is leaving for Africa until February-ish... tomorrow!! : ( Not happy about that. I get it, though. I gypsied around for a while too, but it's tough to lose such a close link for such a long time, especially when you are the one staying behind. : (
Oh well, going to sleep. Will write more. I think I may be addicted to this.

Lyrical urged me to come to the SGNY event tomorrow night at Doubledown. I wasn't going to come at first, but now I'm leaning toward going. I'd like to be able to stop by for an hour or so. Hope to meet you if we both show up.
