Despite their name, The Whitest Kids U'Know are still getting used to the idea that, in fact, people really do know them. They've already scored millions of views on YouTube and produced one season of hilarious sketch comedy on Fuse Network, but they've never had the kind of exposure they're getting in their second season on IFC. I have never seen Deadwood, but am a big fan of westerns since childhood. However, I have been a very big fan of Kim's since first seeing her in Mercury Rising, and she has quickly become one of my favorite actresses. With it's very talented cast, Deadwood will certainly be on my list of DVD's to pick up. I hope Kim gets all the recognition she deserves. She has a bright future ahead of her.

if you are a fan of westerns but (for some reason) havnt picked up Deadwood yet, DO SO NOW!!!!
not only is it easily the best western TV show ever made, it rivals some of the great western films of all time....most Deadwood-ites would agree with me here, if you arent watching deadwood you are missing out!!!

When Metal Blade Records founder Brian Slagel first envisioned the label, he was just like you or me -- a music hungry kid from the burbs, his afternoons consumed in record stores and in the pages of music glossies, frustrated that his beloved, local metal scene got continuously shut out by major labels. Endless hard work and dedication paid off and in 1982 Slagel assembled...

You might not have heard of Mitch Davis yet, but you have definitely heard his band Orba Squara. Yes, you sitting there, eyeballing that iPhone idle on the corner of your desk pretending to ignore the hole that its first bill burned in your pocket. We all remember the gleaming simplicity of those...

I'm lucky enough to have met Irvine several times. He is married to my sister-in-law. He was at my wedding and has been in my house. He's a great, hilarious, witty guy. Great interview.

Ten seconds. We have a go for main engine start 3 2 1.

A camera pans in as the space shuttle prepares for launch, and then, flash, thrusts itself into orbit leaving a fiery explosion of atomic proportions in its wake. Time elapses. A camera pans through the dark and desolate stillness of the shuttles inner chamber, seemingly abandoned except for one man, his head...

The vocals in this band make me want to smash everything around me. the band sucks and so does the ego behind the singer.

Egos? In the music business? No fucking way, man.

I'm not really the biggest fan of Angels & Airwaves, but I think the story behind the Blink-182, Boxcar Racer, +44 and Angels and Airwaves adventure is pretty interesting.

It was nice to hear about this band from a different prospective than Tom's.
