today i saw two care-bears running down the street with "care-bears on strike" signs. anyone know what this is about?
today a girl was crying because she didn't place first in the 'worlds best exotic dancer' competition. she placed third, yeah she only won $250. i was perplexed by all this, especially after she took first in one of the previous contests, but what do you say to someone when you don't understand, in order to console them? i just stood back as i usually do when i'm out of my area. you just can't win it all, it wouldn't be right. she should take heart in the fact that she beat out the winner tonight in the other contest.
give it a rest. what about the ones that didn't place, didn't even make enough tips to cover the cost of entering the damn thing? don't let the ego get out of control my dear, when you think you're above everyone else is when you have the furthest to fall. or something like that. she put on an amazing show and was well compensated for it, isn't that enough?
i'm just glad i didn't bother with it. it would probably be me crying in the basement instead, but without the cash.
oh well. funny thing, the winner of the contest covered herself in glitter, except it wasn't half as cool as when andie and siren did it.
