OZZFEST 2004
First impressions!
I got home 12:40 am. My throat is raw. My body aches. My ears are ringing. IT WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to go to sleep now. More impressions when I wake up. Photos should be online tomorrow, if KMart doesn't lose the film.
Oh, and I saw boobies! many many boobies! Some of them even made it to my camera!!!

Poor Erich...
I went to the AC/DShe concert at the fair tonight, and the first thing I did when I stepped onto the grass was wrench my bad knee. Not fun. Thank God I had my cane. I hobbled out to a food booth, bought (fucking vendors) a cup of ice to hold on my knee, and limped back to the show. I ended up with craptacular seats, but I was able to put my knee up and ice it down.
Sooooo.... Tomorrow I have 1 goal; I'm gonna sit my fat ass down in front of the TV, and alternate between ice-pack and heat pad, until it doesn't hurt any more.

OZZFEST!!!!!!!
That was the coolest fucking concert I've been to in ages, maybe ever. Why? Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. True, all the acts were fucking awesome, but Priest and Sabbath blew the shit away.
Rob Halford was in perfect form, maybe even better than ever, as front-man for the reunited Priest. His voice is second to none on the albums, but in person it was even better! The raw power in his voice is truly astounding.
And Sabbath? What can be said about the innovators of heavy metal? Bill Ward, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and John 'Ozzy' Osbourne were in fine fashion, reminding me why all these years later, they're still able to sell out 30,000 seat arenas.
Sometimes, if the opportunity arises, I'll take full advantage of my bad knee. Ozzfest was one of those occasions. Wandering towards the grass while Slayer was playing, I took one look at the crowd in the grass seats, and I promptly found a seating agent and asked about handicapped seating. It was full. But, she said, people had been getting tossed out all day due to being too drunk and rowdy. She looked for a seat for me, and came back with a big smile on her face. I went from being in the cheap-ass seats to about 1/3 the way up from the stage, dead center. When KMart gies me my pictures (they say Sunday now), you'll see some awesome shots showing where I was, and the view I got.

That's all for now. Aloha!
