I saw your original post in oJAEflo's post asking about the GL tattoo. I said you should go for the one without the ring. However, he directed me to your journal, and after reading his response with the metallic finish, I say go for that. It would been even radder (more rad?) if it were on yer elbow.
This is coming from a girl who has a slew of Batman related tattoos.
