well i wonder if i will get attacked for posting here...with this name and obviously exposing my job but....i am sorry for what happened...but the sad truth is....if people didnt call 911 everytime they get a cough or a headache i bet we could get to real jobs sooner..unfortuantly in nyc alot of people use the emergency room for thier primary care doctor and they think the only way they can get there is 911...the bad thing is people abuse the 911 system...i should know im abused on a daily basis...beleive it or not..we actually get to jobs within 4-6 minutes...but that is once we actually get the job....we ofcourse have no idea how long the job has been waiting to get sent to us.
oh...btw....i am not at all justifying what happened to the little girl..that is horrible....and that type of things makes me sad.

pussed out of trying to go swimming due to an overwhelming amount of snow on the NY ground. there are 2 big hills to walk down to get to the pool - not in the mood to go SPLAT this morning.

yup.
i sure did go out in the blizzard at 6am, and went swimming! 2700m. nothing too taxing, but still, 2700m in 75 minutes.

everything (9am-12pm rehearsal; my weekend jaunt to CT) has been cancelled, which is just fine with me actually.

the boiler in the building is fritzed, which means no heat or hot water until further notice. i have a craving to watch...

I used to wake up, get dressed, start to head out the door for 6 am early morning formation (Army days), only to have my girlfriend wake up and say, Why are you getting dressed at 3 in the morning! No good amswer to that one.

Better yet, being a california man, ocean on left means driving north. Jump to working as a driver in Jersey, need to go north, put ocean on left and drive for an hour, woops, thats south on the right coast! 2 Hours late for meeting, and how can I tell them the real reason! lol
