Day 4 of my rum advent is Gosling’s Family Reserve 40% by volume. Definitely a darker rum. Little sweet and hints of spice on the nose, maybe a molasses aroma to it. First sip I taste molasses and then hint of spice at the end with a warming feeling at the end and then mellows out. Seems to be a little thicker, when I swirl my glass I can see it take a second to return to the bottom of the glass.
