So, my account is up to expire next month and I'm considering letting it go. Again. When I joined SG in 2006 I spent the next two years meeting so many wonderful people. I lived in GA then and there were lot of groups for SG people to get to know each other. I even got to meet a bunch of those people at parties and other events, a couple of whom I'm still friends with today. It was great, I really felt a sense of community then. That was what I was most looking forward to when I reactivated my account last year. But after eleven months I have yet to make a single contact on here. I know the world is different now and maybe groups like that aren't popular anymore. Or maybe there's another reason. But, as much as I love torturing myself seeing so many beautiful, proud, and creative women on here, I'm just not sure that it's worth it to stay on here just for that.
