Okay, so the weekend on the deserted island was................ all right. Aside from the not-being-as-deserted-as-advertised, aside from the twelve-thousand mosquito bites I have now, aside from the all over sun burn, and aside from the three deep lacerations on the bottom of my foot from stepping on barnacles(?), it was all right. At one point on Thursday, Gino, Cooper and myself were sitting neck deep in a warm channel of sea water sipping rum-and-cokes and laughing at Cooper's crazy dogs while they frolicked about. The weekend definitely had its moments. Then Saturday night I finally drove up to an SGATL group event. It was a good capper to a fun weekend. How about you guys? How was your weekend?

i saw lots of helicopters this weekend and thought of you, but i don't really know why. did you mention liking helicopters in your journals or something?
